A Home Cinema system from Design Innovation is custom designed to suit your requirements, budgets and room layout. We can install a home cinema system into any room of the house or into a dedicated cinema room. Systems can be based on Plasma / LCD screens or a projector, depending on the day to day use of the room. For best results a dedicated room with blackout facilities and a good quality projector and screen is ideal, however most people don't have room for this, so a system can be based around a Plasma or LCD TV in the living room. Add motorised blinds or curtains and controlled lighting to create the best environment for watching your favorite films.

Generally home cinema systems will be controlled using a single multifunction remote control, either using a LCD screen with buttons around it, a touch screen or an on screen display as shown here. Not only does this remove the many different remote controls needed for a home cinema system it also means the remote is "event driven" i.e. hitting the 'Watch DVD' button will turn on the TV, the DVD player and amplifier, select the correct input and surround sound setting and present you with the DVD controls. If a suitable lighting system has been installed then it could also dim the lights and close the curtains.

On screen menus are easy to navigate and can also be used to select music tracks or playlists from a music server. On screen menus are ideal for use with a Plasma or LCD TV however where a projector and screen are used it is often better to use a touch screen remote control.
